Teaching

The teaching duties of the Department Evolutionary Biology are mainly concerned with lectures and practical exercises in animal morphology, evolution, phylogeny, natural history and field courses. Teachers are active researchers in their field and ensure close connection between research and education.

The courses are obligatory parts in the study programmes Bachelor Biology, Master Zoology, and Master Evolutionary Biology. Furthermore, the Department Evolutionary Biology offers core courses in zoology to students of Biology and Enviromental Studies (subject of instruction).
